Is it possible to play general midi files on the k2500x?

The K2500 can become General MIDI compatible if you load in the General MIDI sound set. The GM sound set is available on the Kurzweil FTP site. There are different versions depending on which expansion boards you have or don't have.

At sweetwater (www.sweetwater.com) there is also a little program to download for your PC in which you can reschedule all information of a general midi file into a k2500 file. I don't know exactly how it works but you'll figure it out
