I'm interested to know why this movie has done so well in Japan. Any Japanese viewers reading this? Are most of the repeat viewers teenage girls (i.e. Leoluvers)? If so, interesting that they could be attracted to someone very foreign looking. Maybe a lot of the viewers can relate to living a stifled life and rejoice in Rose's breaking free of it. Maybe others have a fascination with ships. Other comments, please.
