I would like to know more about thnecklace that was aboard The Titanic. Was there really a 56 karat diamond?

No, there was no "Heart of the Ocean" or its equivilant on the real Titanic. There were a few pearl necklaces and small diamond items, but nothing to set treasure hunters' chops dripping. There was a rare, jeweled copy of the "Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam" on board which would probably be worth a tidy sum today, but will almost surely never be found or recovered.

No there wasnt a 56 karat diamond necklace on board the ship but there was another necklace that is worth quite a large amount of money but that will probaly never be found.
