Now that the 55mm-100mm zoom lens for the Pentax 67 has been out for a little while, does anyone have a report on its performance?

I have an 55-100mm zoom for the last three months and all the results have been superb.

I have not done any scientific test but have used it intensively in aerial photography and on the ground. It is a big lense and with the hood it really is impressive. The focus and zoom rings are a bit difficult to move, and so I will try to construct two fast focus and zoom handles, mainly for aerial work.

The only not so happy point ( but that means the lense is quite fast) is the 95mm diammeter filter ring. It is an item very difficult to find.

The price for this lense was also very actractive when compared to the 55mm fixed.

I have the new zoom and am quite impressed with it so far. I was concerned with vignetting using a circular polarizer at the 55 setting, but so far it looks fine with results recieved. I ended up getting the B&W Kaseman circular. All images show good sharpness right to the edge. I will also be testing this lens on some astro photos soon. Anyone getting this lens I think will be satisfied.
