greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

I've heard, I think of a means to match the output of my printer(Canon BJC-620) to the appearance of an image on my monitor(Hyundai#7870)I now have to print an expensive test sheet then try to adjust the image darker or lighter. ANy help will be appreciated.

Brian Lawler has some good information on his site about system color calibration. You'll find a link to his color calibration article on our "Tips & FAQs" page, at http://www.imaging-resource.com/TIPS1.HTM.

There are a variety of software and software/hardware systems that handle this more or less automatically, but given your complaint about expensive test sheets, these probably aren't for you. Brian's full approach requires expensive equipment, but he has a fairly simple technique for adjusting your monitor that yields good results.

Good luck!
