This weekend I ventured out to two second run theaters currently showcasing Titanic. These theaters barely had air conditioning and had lousy sound systems,plus beat up scratched prints of Titanic that should have been retired long ago. I know that not everyone can afford 5-8 dollars for a film when it is first released,but it is a shame that that the movie going experience should be brought down to the dollar house limits. The people who came to the theaters also brought all of their kids and they let them run through the theater and on the stage! There were several older customers who talked through the entire film commenting on every scene. Today I went to the last first run theater playing Titanic in Orlando,and it was a pleasure, beautiful sound and picture and still customers,even the film is in 9 dollar houses in ORLANDO!
