How to choose?

How to choose? I have been trying to decide which camera to buy but more confused with all the articles. I had narrowed down the choices to the Oly D-340L, Nikon CoolPix 900 or the Epson PhotoPC 700. The differences: CompactFlash or SmartMedia? Optical zoom or just digital? Direct connect to my Epson 600 or use PC?

Which would be the better choice?

If resolution is your concern buy the Nikon. If you want the highest optical zoom of that group buy the Nikon. If you don't want to be limited to 16MB SmartMedia, buy a camera with CompactFlash, like the Nikon. I don't connect to my printer, I load the images into the computer and then print. I have an Epson Stylus and a Panasonic Truphoto so the connection question is moot. This would be the only reason to consider the Epson camera.

In short ... buy the Nikon, I did.
