YOSAR

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Mountaineering : One Thread

I am interested in learning more about the search and rescue operation at Yosemite. I am thinking of making a committment in this area in the future. I am having a hard time finding info on the web sites. Do you know who I might contact?

As far as I know, yosar is quite low-tech, and i am not sure someone there has a phone. they also rely on personal interaction. your best bet would probably to visit the site in person during your next climbing trip.
