My wife works for Social Services. Anyone supporting a foster child gets a check from the state. Recently all people with children that turned 18 in Y2k did not receive their checks from the state. It was identified as a Y2K problem. No one thought about this ahead of time. How many more gotchas are out there?

Dennis - It was Emmanual Kant who observed that man is constrained by time and space, neither of which he understands very well. This is a problem which involves both. There are a lot more gotchas out there.
