Y2K Sanctuary In Sangre de Cristo Mtns.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I am currently building my own Y2K Sanctuary on 1 of my 2 contiguous 35 acre parcels set in the most serene, secluded and beautiful area of the southern Colorado Rockies. Located on the west upper elevations of the Wet Mountains & staring eyeball-to-eyeball with the 14,000 peaks of the majestic Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Property adjoins more than 2,000,000+ acres of federal land including the Greenhorn National Wilderness Area, Sangre de Cristo National Wilderness Area and the San Isabel National Forest. Wildlife of every kind proliferates, including elk, mule deer, wild turkey, black bear, eagles, and lots of hummingbirds. Water is cold & clear, sun shines 320+ days of the year and gardening is good.

I am looking for a prudent and prescient individual or family who is "Y2K Aware" and who would make a good steward of this precious land as well as a good neighbor thru Y2K & beyond. I can forward to you by email further detailed information and photos if you contact me at:

aaaaaaaahhhhh --- the Sangre de Cristos -- mystical mountains that they are. If only my wife would allow me the simple pleasure of convincing her that the Sangres are indeed the place to be thru Y2K and beyond. Please forward all info & I will commence the "discussion" once again.

Though the possibilities are probably remote, I cannot help but ask for further information. Thank you.

Beware....my father always told me if something sounds too good to be true it probably is!

And your Father never spent a day or night on this property, either.
