List of meetings?

Would Rick or anyone else be interested in developing a list of utility commission meetings? I live in Orange County, CA and would be willing to attend L.A. and/or OC meetings if I knew when and where they were.

David, I think that is a great idea. Let me be the first to put up one. There will be a Town Hall meeting in White Lake, Michigan (near Detroit) concerning the Y2K progress of Detroit Edison. Thursday, July 9, 1998 White Lake Township Hall 7525 Highland Road White Lake, MI 48383 8:00 AM

If you have questions, please call: Joelle Demand, Senator Mat Dunaskiss' office (517)373-2417 Sharon Harris, Representative David Galloway's office (517)373-2616

If you are a Y2K specialist on utilities and an eloquent speaker, please express an interest in speaking at the event.

ALL MEDIA ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!!

Rick.....

Go to the internet site of the CPUC (California Public Utilities). I believe they have a list of meetings on the site. Or, you can call them toll-free and ask about the meetings. My husband works for a major utility company in Northern California, and no one seems to be concerned about Y2K. It seems as though the problem doesn't even exist! Maybe it doesn't! Who knows? All I know is that I will be prepared!

Q: In which way could I contribute to the general 'exodus' from our comfort zones? Question asked anyone who could tell me where to turn for accurate and .....information.

Where, when and for whom would, within the power generating industry, the Y2K 'problem' - (wide spread hysteria ?) jeopardized transmission phase of power, 'the juice we need to be able to exist today?) BC Hydro in British Columbia Canada evidently have no worries in monitoring power to their export customers, not even after or during the 'roll-over' into the next Millennium??
