NEW YORK (Reuters) - ``Seinfeld'' sank ``Titanic.'' A signed script from the hit series fetched $23,000 at an auction of Hollywood memorabilia yesterday, while a 22-foot-long working model from the 1953 film ``Titanic'' failed to sell after drawing low bids. Signed by all four of ``Seinfeld's'' main cast members, the 78-page bound script for ``The Contest'' brought the show an Emmy for writer Larry David. It was probably the sitcom's most notorious episode, chronicling a battle to see who can refrain from masturbating. The day's top lot was an animation cell from the 1937 Disney classic ``Snow White,'' which brought $34,500. In other bidding at Christie's East, Gene Roddenberry's original proposal for ``Star Trek'' fetched just under $20,000 and James Dean's contract for ``East of Eden'' netted $18,400.
