Caterine, Called Birdy by Karen Cushman is an extaordinary book. The main charecter, Catherine, lives during the Midevil Ages. She is not happy being herself, and is forced to marry an old, ugly, drunk, and very piglike man! Fotuenettly, the man is killed the day of the marraige. This book is very well written, and every girl should read it.
