Epson Photo Stylus 700

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

Just got my Epson Photo Stylus 700 and am pleased so far. It will enable me to print sample photos from digital cameras to help compare before buying. Already have seen HUGE difference between what is printed and what is on my 800 X 600 laptop monitor. However, I'm a little disappointed with the software, which is mainly Adobe PhotoDeluxe. As expected, the documentation is atrocious. There are very few templates for greeting cards, etc. Anyway, what I would like to know is: Is there a way to print four DIFFERENT pictures onto a single full-page sheet using the software that comes with the printer? They do include the software to print various combinations of sizes of the SAME picture.

ALSO, I plan to keep, or at least make a record of, every color print I make during the first ink cartridge. I will then convert this into actual square feet of color printing obtainable with a single cartridge and post that.

Thanx for your help. --Rick

The Adobe Photodeluxe 2.0 program is capable of printing 4 pictures on one page.

I use the "photoalbum" feature (under cards & more). You must first open and edit your picture one at a time and then goto "choose photo album". It then holds the pictures temporarily (you must give it a name and it will save as .PDD file).

Once you get 4 pics saved, you close all pics. Then point to File then New. Create an 8.5 x 11" page.

Then drag you "Hold" pictures onto your new page. You can then resize and move the pictures.

You can then print the Album page.

Once you finish printing, you should delete the "hold" pictures in its subdirectory as these take extra file space.

Regards.
