In the Informal Proposal I said, "Endorsement of either this proposal, or this proposal with changes, by those of you with stature may convince others of you with stature that it's safe to support group action, so include your bios if you like this as a starter proposal and I'll share the validation all around in next week's report."

This forum thread is for endorsements, and I certainly hope it fills up. If you believe this project is important, ought to be pursued, please compose a letter of endorsement and post it in this thread. A show of broadbased community support is very important to the success of projects like this, and gathering them in one place will provide a convenient, efficient way of making that support apparent to anyone who may want to see a representation of it.

Also, please be sure to do a biographical sketch and include it in the "Biographical Sketches & Contacts" thread.

You can type them up in your word processor and post them into these threads by clicking on the "Contribute an answer..." link (in either thread), and copying and pasting them into the text entry box.
