Secrets of TitanicShack (tm): Revealed!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TitanicShack : One Thread

Everyday, I administer TitanicShack (tm) by checking new postings.

Among the things I can do is check to see which internet server (TCP/IP address) people have posted from. It's interesting to see people use aliases, especially multiple aliases. (Personally, I don't like aliases...putting on a different persona is okay by me, but not when people use an alias to hide behind...unless they have something legitimate to hide.)

I've tweaked the main page banner logo so that the top horizontal strip is more buff-coloured (to match the coloured strip that was on Titanic, something that I've wanted to do for a few months, but never quite got around to (until today).

BuffBanner for ==TitanicShack== (tm)

I've elected not to put in rivets and hull-plate edges, and have used the ultra-trendy 'Serpentine' font (as opposed to a serif font).

I've tweaked the forum so new questions are questions asked within the last three days.
