Live Oak Perry & Gulf

Looking for information and photos of the last years of operation by the LOP&G before and after the Southern took them over. Interested in deatils of any fan trips over the Loping Gopher in the 1950's.

The answer to your question, it can best be answered by 'S. Russell Tedder" who worked on the line before Southern took over. Put out a request for info on the SE Rails group. Russell answered one of my questions about the Live Oak & Perry RR. He is currently writting a book about the lumber co that operated in the vacinity of the RR. I do not have a current working Email address for the gentlemen since he moved this past summer. Hope that helps. Arthur, "Railfans never die, they just lose track"
