Back to Titanic soundtrack will be released July 28th. This will debut at #1 ON THE BILLBOARD ALBUM CHART!! The current Titanic soundtrack is still doing very well at #6 ON THE Billboard chart for the week ending May 23rd. The great James Cameron TITANIC making of book is also still high on the charts at #2 on the New York Times best seller list. If you havent bought this one, then run out and buy it now,its one of the best coffee table books ever made, with great photos.

Does anyone know when the 2nd soundtrack will be released in Australia? We always get things months later than the release date in the States. The JC Titanic book took about an extra 2 months, and I hope the 2nd soundtrack isn't the same, I don't think I could wait that long. :-)

Does anyone know what this 2nd soundtrack will add in relation to the first one? I would like the Irish band and Nearer My God to Thee. The last one always gets me...

Found a page on Sony Classical's website with a little info on the 'Back to Titanic' CD:

Woo-hoo-hoo! My dream comes true. The songs I wanted will be on the CD. Thanks, Kip!

The second volume of music from the film, Back to Titanic, is scheduled to be released on July 28th and will include additional music performed on the ship by the string quartet, Il Salonisti, and by the Irish pub band, Gaelic Storm. The online newsletter Movie Tune News said that the release of the album will coincide with the release of the Titanic home video.

Does anyone know if the second soundtrack could possiably be interactive?? I read in another thread (check out unanswered questions) about a cd-rom about Titanic, it sounded intresting but I don't think it was about the film....it would be pretty cool if the upcoming cd was interactive.
