What has happened to the box office updates? Titanic is still in the top five or six this weekend as of Fridays box office. Titanic has lost about 275 theaters from last week. It is now playing in 1990 theaters. It may lose another 200-400 theaters on Tuesday when Godzilla opens. I went to a theater today that still had a nice size audience,of course the theater only held 150 seats! Drop everything and go out and see Titanic lets keep it in the top five this weekend!

Hello Michael: Give Dan a break! He has posted the updates religiously and I, for one, appreciate it. It's interesting to see the track record of a film of this magnitude but the guy is entitled to a little time off I would think. I'll admit, I have only seen it once but I am not a big theater goer so that was going some! With all the summer movies coming out, I would say the "T" is holding her own pretty well. Not to say I won't go see it again but time constraints and all may not permit it. The interest in this ship will go on forever, even if the interest in the film wanes, but I don't think the film is going to disappear any time soon!
