I'm not sure who mean by Saint Marie...

But St Bernadette was the visionary who saw Our Lady at Lourdes. She went on to become a nun and lived a life of great physical suffering and personal holiness. She is venerated for her holiness more than for the mere fact that Our Lady appeared to her.
