According to KEH camera, there are two 165 2.8's. Early was still SMC Pentax, but had a narrower focus ring. Late has wider focus ring and multicoating was improved (?). Anybody know for sure? Just a side note, I haven't seen a Pentax lens with bad multicoating, even really early Takumars. Comments?
