How big a generator is needed? What is the best water purification system? Is there any water that cannot be purified? Where can I get one? Where do I find a manual pump with which I can extract gasoline from underground gas station tanks? Is dog food good to eat? Are dogs good to eat? Chinese and Koreans seem to think so. Is veteranary grade medicine ok to use? I would like a brain storm session on this question because I am sure I have forgotten a lot of details.

According to the Armed Forces Survival Manual, Yes, all mammals are edible (Dog, cat, badgers). Also edible are snakes, lizards, rabbits, rats and field mice. I suppose dog food would be edible, but very high in salt and likely to give you digestive problems if eaten in large quantities. The Manual says that the most important key in survival is the WILL TO SURVIVE...I don't know if a steady diet of dog food would bolster that will...;p

Bill, I know nothing about power generation but I know something about water purification. Although most people think of using chlorine bleach to kill bacteria to make water potable, a far better way is to use a chlorine-free electrolyte solution of stabilized oxygen, which comes in a concentrated liquid form. Most pathogens are able to be killed using Aerobic '07', including E-coli, Salmonella, Giardia lamblia, Staphylococcus, and Streptococcus, to name just a few.

It takes just six drops per gallon of water, or, one ounce for a 55 gallon drum, and it can also be taken internally to boost the oxygen level in tissues. You can also use it to disinfect and deodorize kitchen and bathroom surfaces, and to rinse fresh produce SAFELY.

E-mail me if you want details on how to get it.

I neglected to mention that the most beneficial aspect of Aerobic '07' is that it has an UNLIMITED SHELF LIFE. Therefore, it's possible to assure a safe water supply for long periods of time without storing large quantities of purification materials or equipment.

Attention, Gary C.

Please give another e-mail address as I could not deliver water purification details to the one posted.
