I'm going to answer my own question. This forum is open to anyone wishing to share their knowledge of the Southern Railway with others and to answer questions placed here. The only restriction we have is that content be limited to the Southern Railway and its predecessor railroads and/or merger partners. I'll look forward to seeing your comments.
