The Carolina Cup Racing Assc.Inc. is asking the following. We are building a racing museum and want information on building the track through Camden in the 20's (RR) and photos of horses being shipped.Can anyone help? P.S. This would make a great article for L.S.

Answers

The Camde/Kershaw county archives did have a map that showed a horse unloading ramp, but I do not recall seeing any photos of the operation. They only had a small amount on Information on Camden rail history that I found and most of it was within the last 50 years or so.
