What is this "Titanic: Adventure Out of Time" all about?

I saw in my local paper (Washington Post) that the top selling software here is "Star Wars" something or other, and "Titanic: Adventure Out of Time" is #2. I'm not a video gamer, but I'm curious to know what the Titanic game is all about, and how many of us die-hards have played it.

Hi Bob:

"Titanic: Adventure Out of Time" is an adventure-style game set on the Titanic on the evening of 4/14/12. The object is to locate secret documents in the hands of a German courier. The player has to go to various areas of the ship to find clues and/or objects that will assist in the search. You encounter various fictional passengers and crew members en route.

There is also a tour mode which gives the player pretty much free rein of the ship. You can walk through the cargo holds, passenger areas, engine and boiler rooms, bridge, bow peak and fantail, etc.

The 3-D recreations of the ship's interiors are excellent. It helps to have some knowledge of the ship and its layout (for when they tell you to meet someone at the electric camel).

I bought it a few weeks ago at a local Wal Mart for $19.95 USD. I've seen it at Best Buy for much more ($49.95). If you're serious about learning about the inner layout of the ship, I'd recommend it for the tour mode alone.

Cheers!

I have recently been playing the game but have become stumped at one part. Is there anyone out there who has finished the game and can provide some clues? The graphics of the interior are faithful and fantastic.

Jeff, Go to www.happypuppy.com. There you click on cheats and then games for the PC I believe. There you scroll down and it has Titanic listed. Click on it. It takes you from the whole game beginning to end. It really helps a lot. Hope this helps!

No, no , no! Don't do it! Keep at it and don't cheat! You will get it and love it! (Sorry, Jennifer!).

Regars, Peter

I was messing ariund yesterday so i decided to go down with the ship, nothing happened, there was no panci , four or five of the charcters were just standing on the boat deck, doing sod all, then it showed a clip of the dome on the grand staircase bursting, but when i went in it was still all intact, it was a great game but it was a dissappointing finale.
