I've developed Delta in Xtol 1:3 with very good results. Never tried PMK though.

XTOL with Delta

Last week one of my clients (I run a small B&W lab) brought in two rolls of Delta 35 mm. Both were exposed at 400, but one was Delta 100. PMK is not a good choice for pushing; grain starts to grow. I used XTOL at 1:1 for the time recommened in the Kokak data sheet. I was pleasantly surprised by the generally excellent results. Of course shadow detail was diminished, but the overall quality, as judged only by the contact sheet, was quite good. I am going to investigate XTOL as a 'push' developer, perhaps replacing the T-Max that I currently use for that. I'll keep you posted.
