So far, excellent, with the one exception of Gloria Stuart. I really wanted her to win.

I am thrilled with the outcome. Initially I felt very bad for G. Stuart, but even she must be thrilled w/ the record-tying wins and the box office record draw. Everyone knows I thought Kate should have won too (esp for versatility and the American accent). I thoroughly enjoyed the entire show, despite the length. Hats off for the fine speeches and the moment of silence! Thanks again for this great site, Tom!

Bob:

You're welcome.

It has been a great experience administering this sprawling web site, and having people post their questions and answers.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Titanic, and to its 'captain'.

The voyage is over, the awards won, what next? A director's cut? Will Titanic mania start to fade away? I must say I was pretty disappointed that Gloria Stuart didn't win, but I read a biography/resume of hers and she has had a remarkable and accomplished life. Kate Winslet will continue to do great work and eventually will win one, I'm sure. What is J.Cameron's next venture? When you're "King of the World", I suppose it could be anything he wants?
