SMC Fiters

I have a question about the SMC Pentax filters. According to the catalog on the B&H website, these are bayonet mount...my question is do they sell adaptors so that I can use a single filter size on all of my lenses? I am intrigued by the idea of SMC coatings on my filters, especially the polarizer...any opinions or feedback on these filters?

Pentax's filter situation is complicated. If I remember correctly, some of the lenses will take only bayonet filters, some will take only threaded filters, and some will take both. With these kind of variations among the different lenses, finding an adapter that would allow use of a single filter size might be difficult even if such an adapter is made. Before pursuing this much farther, you perhaps should check each of your lenses and make sure they all will accept a bayonet filter (assuming that all of the Pentax filters are bayonet filters). Also, you might want to make sure that the filters use the SMC multicoating.
