As of 10:30 P.M. on March 19th, "Titanic" was leading in 12 categories. Wouldn't it be nice if the Academy voters agreed with the contributors to this poll and break the rcord held by "Ben Hur?"

This evening I attended a local Oscar Talk with Susan Stark, the film critic for the Detroit News. Although she did not like "Titanic," she did forecast that it will win 12 Oscars, losing out only in the Best Actress and Best Makeup categories. I tend to agree.
