memorabilia - other than posters

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TitanicShack : One Thread

I read a newspaper article last week about the large number of people who were going to see the movie numerous times; it seemed to flabbergast the person who wrote the article! Anyhow, they mentioned this one person was in line for a ticket wearing her "titanic tshirt". I haven't seen any of these so I was wondering if anyone else has and has info on where others can buy them?

In addition, has anyone heard of other Titanic film merchandise (besides, the posters, pictures, and books) being put out there for sale in the near future?

I've heard that Titanic tee shirts are available at Sam Goody, Spencer Gifts and Suncoast Motion Picture Company, but I haven't had a chance to see them yet.

J. Peterman has a Titanic Tshirt listed in their on-line catalog. The price is a rather steep $35. I don't know how it compares to those available at the record stores, but I suspect it may be more tasteful and of higher quality .They had been selling props from the movie but all are apparently sold now. I have heard that more may be offered in April, if you're interested. They're at : www.jpeterman.com

I have seen only one single t-shirt that had anything to do with Titanic. It was a black shirt with Leo and Kate's faces on it. They looked just like they do on the official movie poster. I have no earthly idea where the girl got it but it looked pretty cool.

Just spotted something new at the Official movie's webpage on merchandise where they are selling tshirts, caps, posters, mugs, etc.!! The webpage to go there directly is:

http://www.titanicproducts.com/

You can also submit your name and email address so you can be notified when something new comes into stock.

as far as t-shirts and apparel go, I mentioned here already a new site I found opening in Feb of 99, I (sneeked) a peek at thier meta-tags through my netscape browser and they say "embroidered Titanic logo" so it may be some cool stuff. Thier damn welcome page has a java enhanced logo...so they can't be all that bad. He he www.webmartdirect.com The stuff I saw in sam Goody looked rather yucky. I got a nice shirt from the Titanic artifact tour when in Boston, but that was from the actual tour.

Where can I get a reproduction last dinner folder menu (as it appeared in the passenger's hand) that would be suitable for framing. Also reproductions of the Wisteria China. Ones that come from England (Memorabilia) have horrendous shipping costs. Isn't there some company here who has a good assortment of the Wisteria china.
