DiCaprio nude in Playgirl

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The editor-in-chief of Playgirl was quoted yesterday as saying she had quit in protest at plans by the magazine's owners to print unauthorized nude pictures of Titanic star Leonardo DiCaprio. 'It goes against my ethics,' Ceslie Armstrong told the New York Post. 'It's an invasion of privacy. I can't be associated with it.' She took over the magazine, which specializes in pictures of naked men, in July. The Post quoted Playgirl executives as saying Armstrong had not resigned but had been fired. They gave no reason and did not condirm the magazine would publish pictures of DiCaprio, 23."

DICAPRIO FILM PULLED FROM VIDEO STORES, SAYS CANADIAN PAPER

Despite the fact that Leonard DiCaprio once called his 1995 movie Total Eclipse "one of the most important roles of my career," copies of the film have been pulled from video rental stores throughout the United States, the Toronto Star reported today (Friday). The newspaper said that the film, in which DiCaprio appears naked in gay love scenes with David Thewlis, remains available in Canadian video stores and that pirated copies have made it a hit with the gay community in the U.S. The newspaper did not indicate who was responsible for the purge or how it was accomplished.
