price of Titanic video

Does anyone have any ideas on how much the video Titanic will be sold for? Since it is a very popular movie they could raise the price real high and probably people would pay. However, I've noticed that movies that are really popular are normally less expensive then movies that are not so popular. For example, "Liar Liar" is a lot cheaper then "The Little Princess"

I belive they will have to put the movie on two tapes, and hope for some extras after the movie. The two tapes should not cost more than $19.95-$24.95. They would have to respect the repeated viewers for the success of the movie's B.O.

Melanie: I don't know what the price would be, but I would say that inflating the price would not be a good marketing move. I believe the demand will far outweigh the need for a high price unless, of course, they market it as a "boxed set collectors item" with all the cut scenes, etc.. Normally, good films do not have a high price tag on VHS (DVD, who knows) because they do an intense advertising campaign and rely on volume of sales to make their money. This is one of the reasons I do not think this will be released until late fall, near the holidays. It certainly will be out of the theaters by then and the time will be ripe!
