This is a question that a lot of people I know have been asking me. Does Rose die at the end of the movie?

I believe she did. If you look closely in the last scene at the Grand Staircase all the people that are standing there died the night the ship sank. The clock behind Jack says 2:20 A.M., the time Titanic went down to her watery grave. Also, Jack made Rose promise to "die an old lady, warm in her bed" and I believe that's exactly what she did.
