I have heard a rumor that kate Winslet is going to wear the Heart of the Ocean (the prop from the movie) to the Oscars. Is this true? :)

Yes, this is true. Some jewelry company in London is making a replica of the Heart of the Ocean and Kate Winslet is going to wear it to the Oscars.

I am not sure about Kate wearing any replica at the Oscars, but I did read that an English jeweler will craft a real "replica" of "The Heart of the Ocean." Their "Heart of the Ocean" will be a 100+ carat Saphire surrounded by diamonds and mounted on platinum to look like the one in the movie. Sorry, no blue diamond and the Smithsonian seems to want to keep the Hope Diamond. "The Heart of the Ocean" will be auctioned in Los Angeles to benefit a foundation related to Princess Di. Estimated value: $2.5 million!

I know that Celiene Dion wore the 100karrot sapphire Heart Of The Ocean, I saw both the hope diamond in the Smithsonian, and the Real Heart Of The Ocean, not that socalled holigram, Diamond Necklace. It was the real Deal. And I have Pictures to prove it.

I have also made a Replica O f the Heart Of The Ocean, its Austinian Chrystal, with a diamond necklace, but im never going to sell it , but I really wan't to buy a Heart of the Ocean, onr of thoes expensive ones that QVC sells. But to let all know it is a really beautiful necklace.

Nope, as far as I know Laura, this is not true. Superstar diva, Celine Dion wore an almost identical replica to the Oscars, but not the original movie version. Kate, XxXx
