I call this unofficial Kate Winslet fanline almost everyday. Today I called and the girl on the message said that Titanic was going to come out on video in August for $24.95 and that the second soundtrack was coming out in July. Does anyone know if this is really true? I thought Titanic wasn't going to come out until October or something.

Jennifer: I haven't heard anything about that but my guess your estimate of the release date of the video is probably more accurate than theirs. As for the second soundtrack, if they have one, my guess would be anytime because that can only increase the interest in the film and I don't think they anticipated the the demand for the rest of the music when they did the first one (which I am listening to now). Think like a corperation, in $$$$!

Jennifer: I can confirm the soundtrack release date for July, or rather, the expected date. Everyone knows how Cameron and Co. run behind schedule. :) However, I also thought the video release would be later in the year. I heard the holiday season? yet, this is unconfirmed.

AAAAAAAA!!! I'm going crazy here!! First I heard July then I heard September with the release of the vidieo. Now we're back to July again!!!! Sombody Please Confirm SOMETHING!!!!! I hear that the second soundtrack will have the Irish music and some of the remixes of MHWGO. Hopefully some music that the band played as well. I'm also keeping my fingers crosses for the come josaphine song but I doubt that will be on there.

Miranda, I read that Sony Music announced that the second soundtrack, titled "Back to Titanic," will be released on July 28. This was on the Lycos Box Office Reports page, and several other pages have picked up this info somewhere as well. July can't come too soon for me!
