When I watched the movie (both times) I noticed that the front window of the car (the one that Rose pulled Jack through) was open when they "fogged up" the windows. Would the windows have fogged up if that window was open?

Well, I, for one, have been in a car where a window or two have been open and still the others fogged up. It can happen. It just depends on the outside and inside temperature and all, I suppose. Plus, windows which people are closer to fog up much more easily, hence the fogging of the windows directly next to Jack and Rose.

I, too, thought about this but, hey, it's a movie, not real life. If the director wants fogged windows, then that is what he gets. In real life they may have taken the time to pull the window back up, but it would have messed up the flow of the scene to have them do that in the movie. Besides, it was a state-of-the-art car for 1912, maybe the window had a spring and just slide shut. :-)
