Titanic sinking computer animation

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TitanicShack : One Thread

Hello world, i was verry impressed by the computer animated sequence of the Titanic-sinking which was presented to the old Rose on a TV-monitor just in the beginning of the movie. Does anyone know if this movie could somewhere be downloaded as a AVI, FLI or MPEG file? Pleas tell me !

In the half-hour "Making of Titanic", there were full-screen excerpts from the CG animation (not all of it, but enough, for now).

If I weren't so scrupulous about copyright, I'd capture my (personal) video tape copy onto a computer, and make Quicktime/AVI files.

So Tom, where did you get it from? I promise I won't tell and I don't have any appendages (fingers, etc) crossed!!!!

Peter: The two sequences were on "Making of Titanic", which I taped.

See the related thread on the TV program.

Expect to see the full 3D animation on the upcoming CD-R0M "James Cameron's Titanic Explorer".

See my posting in the TitanicShack (tm) Alert System.
