Did kate get to keep her dresses? They were pretty cool, but I don't see how she can use them. And if she didn't, is their a place on the web where I could order one? Please Respond I really would like to know this.

Don't know if Kate Winslet kept anything, but it's customary in filmmaking to allow the lead actors to keep parts of their costumes, assuming they want them. Since they're custom-fitted to the performer, there's usually no reason for the studio to keep them after the production is over. The J. Peterman Co. is offering one of her dresses from the movie for sale, but there were other costumes and, of course, multiple copies of each.

Either Fox or Paramont sold one of her dresses from the set for $11,000 dollars. They sold what they could from the set and raised over 400,000. DOLLARS as they were afraid the movie would not make a buck profit. I heard that the people who printed the catalog of items bought everything up before it was released to the general public. I had to settle for a lump of coal from the real Titanic for ten dollars.

Sorry i was wrong; i did get through to jpeterman co. after a dozen server overload notices, and they did have silverware left from the first class dining scenes. I got a soupspoon,[hopefully from Kate's service], for 85.00 dollars. I'm sure it will go nicely with my lump of coal.
