Just curious: how do you all get to this page? Do you burrow down through B&W World, or is the page bookmarked directly? I ask this because I'm trying to get a realistic sense of how much traffic the forums get, and I'd like to get a sense of how many people just avoid the B&W World forums intro page and go right to a bookmark of the forum itself.

Thanks for satisfying my insatiable curiosity! :-)

I used to go through black and white world, then I bookmarked the forum directly, then the location of the forum changed and now I go through black and white world again. I was considering directly bookmarking again to avoid loading a second instance of Netscape and now I hear the site is about to change again!

Gerald, you can bookmark the forum directly without fear: the site's look and feel may be changing, but not the URLs! (I'll be adding a few new ones, though!) :-)

Mason, Check out this counter. You can put one on B&W World and one on the forum and you can tell who goes to forums direct and who goes through B&W World. You can put one on each of the different forums if you want. They are free and give you some interesting statistics like the ip address, the country of the person, type of browser and operating system.

Sorry about the double entry. But I am old, it is Christmas Day and I forgot to put the URL on the first post. Merry Christmas to EVERYONE!!!

an admin. question

burrow through from the home page. I usually check each of the forums for new messages and read if interested. and every so often check the top ten. About twice per week. I am hooked and appreciate the fix. Thank you.

Mason: This forum is fantastic and we here in Brazil don't have a forum like this one. I acess it twice a week or more. Congratulation to you, Mason. Mauricio

I burrow from the top, so I can see if there's anything new at the top level.

I check it all.
