Ohio case

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Filtering Software in Public Libraries : One Thread

I understand a case went to Senate in Ohio recently with parents groups insisting that filters were introduced. From what I can make out they were turned down. Does anyone know anything about this?

Update on Ohio Case.

See the Wired News report, Ohio Libraries Keep Censorware Discretion, at http://www.wired.com/news/topframe/3994.html.

The bill was amended to allow local libraries to set local policies, rather than being mandated by the state.
