Yup, Win36b15 was the last version with no crackly sounds. The operating system and CPU power makes absolutely no difference at all, I've used MAME on them all. Actually even in tgmame35 with a non- Seal setup, I sometimes get echo effects and after escaping from a game I get the last second of sound replaying, weird.(posted 9010 days ago)In the MAME support pages they do mention that if you get sound breakup, then you should pause the game for a second or two then unpause. But of course you can't do that when recording for MARP because pausing is illegal!
