Response to MAME Sound Quality From Win36 Final Onwards

I have the same problem. Anytime I use a version of MAME without SEAL sound which includes any version of MAME beyond 36b15, I get cracking sounds. The problem is I really, really want to play Looping, and I can't play it on the earlier version. Help! Midas sound sucks! Its SEAL that's the good stuff. Maybe MAME should learn a lesson, if it ain't broke...
