Response to Census? (Privacy Issue)

okay i have never been here before and just stumbled across it. i got about 1/2 way down and decided that i need to respond to what little bit had to say. first of all hears a history lesson public schools were startedforthe people that did not have the money to send their children to school, no matter how hard they worked. second of all not all the people out there can afford to stay home with their children. i would love to stay home with my daughter but i had to leave my husband because he beat the hell out of me. so there for i am now in college so that i can create a better living environmet for her and myself. so that i don't have to live off the government. if you had prefer that i stay with him so i could stay at home, then i guess the government could have paid for the trial, after he killed me, then they could have also paid for fostercare for my child once he was put in prison, then you could have also paid for his little visit to the pen. how about the mothers that have to go to work and put there childern in day care or can not afford privet schooling because their husbands have died somehow, do you think that they should also stay at home (with no income). so that they do not have to put their children in daycare, but now because of people like you who want to abolish puplic schooling they have no way to send their children to school because you don't believe in having government daycare. so therfor when these children get older and don't know how to read and write you can also support them. no matter how hard people work sometimes it is not enough. no body disagrees with you on the fact that kids belong at home with mom and not in daycare. my mother worked three jobs at a time to support me after my fater was gone but you know what she did not have the money to send me to the privte school in our town you see she just did not have $12,000 a year extra for that. do you have any idea what kind of people need puplic schooling? well let me tell you, my major is EMS that is in two months when i get out i will be a paramedic. well when my daughter is of school age she will have to go to a public school because the people who one day god forbid will be called to your house to save your child or spouse or parent, or even you,don't make a $100,000 a year to send their children to privte schools. we are on duty for 24 hours then we get to go home to our families. we don't get paid 1/4 of what we are worth, but you know what someone has to do it, so the day that your 2 year old drowns in the pool because you were to damn busy talking to your little tennis buddies and i have to be called there while only makin $86.00 a day, and my child is in a puplic school and so are the firemen and the police officers that are there then i guess your preciouse few tax dollars that go to schooling are just little thank you for working all damn night and day to watch out for you people who think that we should all just work a little harder and we as mothers should stay at home. then maybe if you feel as passionate about getting puplic schools abolished and no government daycare, then you should get the government to pay people like the ems workers and fireman and the police officers a whole lot more because the way it is now i guess we could all quit our jobs and get higher paying ones, so we can send them to private schools, but then again who's goign to going to pull you and your little ones out of your burning mercadies when you have just been in an accident because you were not paying attention to where you were going since you were to busy talking on your cell phone to your little country club wives about how public school children are just the down fall of our society, and that you are sick of paying for their education. but then again when they go off to college and are attending a state university that taxes pay about 80% of their tuiton. oh but i suppose we are all expected to be able to pay for them to go to harvard, but i don't think the mechanic that works on your car went there. do you think that the construction worker that built your $250,000 house went to princton? doubt it!!! or how about the ladie that checks you out at the grocery store? well if you still think that public school should be abolished then i guess i really did not make a good enough argument and maybe you are right so when my daughter is 7 yrs. old and wants to know why the little boy next door goes to school and she can't i'll have to tell her that mommy does not make enough because some people out there don't think that she deserves the same opportunities as they do because i spend my days and nightssaving lives in the street and not in a hospital being a doctor.
