One of my bosses has had a reported longterm consensual relationship with a employee in a supervisory position. This employee poorly performs poorly without fear of punishment because of the association with the boss. Other employees feels as if this employee is above reproach. Does any other this sound remotely discriminatory? If the boss having the affair leaves, can the involved employee be fired without legal entanglements?
