What is Hamlets capacity for kingship?

'for he was likely, had he been put on, to have proved most royal.' What evidence is there in the play for this statement of Hamlets capacity for kingship?

Hamlet really did care for the kingdom, cause he had stalled so long to make sure he didn't kill an innocent man and ruin the kingdom entirely. He also did what he believed to be the best thing for the kingdom after Claudius had died and before he died.
