Hello there...I have a rather simple question....Is there any boot cd, launcher, etc. that I can put in my DVD Player (LG DVD-7942N) in order to watch avi files?. I would help me alot...anyway, that's all for now...hope you guys can help!

No.

A number of players will play Divx files, but that's the only .avi that is currently supported by a standalone player. Check:
