Hi, Am planning the Tour of Mont Blanc in the first 2 weeks of July. If anyone has been around this time it would be really helpful to know if it will be so busy we need to book in advance with the accommodation or if we can just take it day by day, and if we are just going to turn up on the day do we need a tent just in case??

Also, is it necessary to take with us axes/crampons for any of the passes at this time of year?? I had a look on the internet but couldn't find where I could get an up to date report on the conditions at the moment...

Thanks for your help, all advice would be gratefully received as it will save us packing camping and winter stuff we could have left in the UK.
