Just brainstorming here I guess, I'm trying to put together for a discussion a comprehensive list of services a typical IT Department might offer customers.
Say for example a University IT Department – they might offer:
Laser Printing Services Email Services Web Access Services
Can you help me expand this list?

What you are looking for is a service catalogue. Listing all services, putting them in connection with CI from the CMDB and setting priorities in the treatment of the call/incident entries. if you do it for the first time this wouldtake some 4-5 iterations to put it up and a periode of due diligence to finetune it.
