HAMLET

WHAT DOES THE FACT THAT HAMLET'S SOLILOQUY IN THE 'PRAYER SCENE'(ACT3,SCENE3) WAS CUT FROM PERFORMANCES OF THE PLAY FOR NEARLY 200 YEARS TELL US ABOUT SHAKESAPEARE'S LIKELY INTENTIONS IN WRITING THI SPEECH FOR THE PRINCE?

Nothing. It happened after he wrote it. If we want to try to understand the author's intentions, we have to look at what he wrote - the speech and the rest of the play.
