Alexander was Greek, he was born in the ancient greek kingdom of Macedonia,Which is still in modern greece today. Look in a map of northern greece near mount olympus. The area is called macedonia. The country of macedonia above greece is modern, and was formed in 1991 after the break of of the former yugoslavia. The modern inhabitants of the country of macedonia, are just rejects from slavakia.

Thucydides was just this guy who wrote about what had happened

Herodotus was another of these guys

Hippocrates was a doctor

Archimedes was the guy who ran naked, shouting "Eureka!!!!", "Eureka!!!" at the top of his voice, he was also keen on moving the world
